Norton Arts has always taken a personal approach to teaching self-protection, as we understand that everyone is unique. With the outbreak of COVID-19, we have turned to online training. Although it may be through a screen, we are still able to provide live training that provides that personal approach that many love about us.
(Breaking down the misconceptions)
There is a huge misconception when it comes to understanding the term "Self-Protection". Why? Well, many see self-protection and self-defence as one and the same. They are not. As much as self-protection does include the physical defence of self (self-defence), the primary focus is ALWAYS on PREVENTING violence but also managing the realities of it. Self-Protection is not teaching a martial arts-based approach to physical defence, but practical non-complicated movements.
