REFUND & WITHDRAWAL POLICY

This Refund & Withdrawal Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, cancellations, or withdrawals may be requested for Norton Arts training programs, including A.S.P.I.R.E.™ Professional Development Training (PDT), self-paced modules, coaching programs, workshops, and any related learning services.

By enrolling in any Norton Arts program, you acknowledge and agree to the terms described below.

1. GENERAL POLICY

Due to the digital nature of our training programs, refund eligibility is limited.
Once course materials have been accessed, downloaded, or viewed, refunds are generally not permitted.

This is standard practice for online professional development, and ensures the integrity of our intellectual property and training resources.

2. SELF-PACED AND ONLINE TRAINING PROGRAMS

Refunds for online or self-paced programs (including A.S.P.I.R.E.™ PDT) are not available once:

  • You have logged into the course;

  • Any module has been opened;

  • Any workbook, PDF, or downloadable file has been accessed;

  • Any video or lesson has been played;

  • Any training material has been viewed or downloaded.

If you purchased access but have not accessed the course in any form, you may request a refund within 5 business days of purchase.

After 5 business days, no refunds will be issued.

3. ORGANIZATIONAL LICENSES AND SEAT PACKS

All purchases made by organizations, including:

  • Annual organizational licenses

  • Seat packs for staff

  • Bulk training purchases

  • Instructor-led training days

are non-refundable once:

  • The invoice is paid, or

  • Any allocated user has accessed the training

Organizations may request reassignment of unused seats within the same organization, subject to approval.

Unused seat licenses cannot be refunded, transferred to other organizations, or carried forward beyond the agreed access period.

4. BLENDED OR IN-PERSON TRAINING SESSIONS

For pre-scheduled in-person or blended training:

4.1 Cancellations by the Organization

  • Cancellations made 14 days or more before the scheduled date:
    — Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee

  • Cancellations made fewer than 14 days before the scheduled date:
    — 50% refund

  • Cancellations made within 5 days of the session:
    — No refund

4.2 Rescheduling Requests

Organizations may request one reschedule at no additional charge if made at least 7 days in advance.

Additional reschedules may incur a fee.

5. CANCELLATION BY NORTON ARTS

In rare circumstances where Norton Arts must cancel or reschedule a training session:

  • A full refund will be provided, or

  • An alternative date will be offered, based on client preference.

Norton Arts is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or incidental expenses incurred by the organization or learner.

6. PROGRAM WITHDRAWAL BY INDIVIDUAL LEARNERS

Learners enrolled independently (not through an employer) may request withdrawal at any time; however:

  • Withdrawal does not entitle the learner to a refund once training has been accessed.

  • Certificates cannot be issued for incomplete programs.

  • Access ends at the end of the original enrollment period unless extended by Norton Arts under accommodation guidelines.
     

7. EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES

Norton Arts may, at its sole discretion, consider partial refunds or extensions in cases of:

  • Medical emergencies

  • Sudden life events

  • Active mental-health crises

  • Significant accessibility-related barriers

Requests must be submitted with reasonable documentation at robert@nortonarts.org.

8. DIGITAL PRODUCTS, WORKBOOKS, AND DOWNLOADS

Due to copyright protections and the irreversible nature of digital distribution:

  • Downloadable materials

  • PDFs, workbooks, or resources

  • Scripts, templates, or bonus files

are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded.

9. REFUND REQUEST PROCEDURE

To request a refund or withdrawal review, please contact:

  • Your name

  • Program enrolled

  • Date of purchase

  • Reason for the request

  • Any supporting documentation (if applicable)

We will respond within 10 business days.

10. AGREEMENT TO THIS POLICY

By enrolling in any Norton Arts training program or accessing any digital training material, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this Refund & Withdrawal Policy.
